School Rules and Regulations

1. GENERAL PROVISIONS |
|
1.1 |
|
The
aims of establishing the school regulations are to foster self-discipline
and good behaviour and to maintain a good learning environment. |
|
1.2 |
|
The
school regulation is applicable to all students. This Regulation
is also applicable to students wearing school uniforms outside
school and those participating in extracurricular activities on
behalf of the school. |
|
1.3 |
|
Students
are expected to observe regulations, take care of the school,
respect teachers, care for schoolmates, keep good discipline,
study diligently, be serious, honest, responsible, thrifty, polite
and neat in appearance and be enthusiastic in service. |

1.4 |
|
Students
must not damage school reputation or school ethos, endanger public
security, infringe the rights of others, steal any public or private
property and violate rules and regulations. |

|
Students
who demonstrate good conduct may be awarded. |
| 1.6 |
|
Students
who violate the school regulations shall be punished in accordance
with the relevant stipulation of this regulation. The format of
the heaviest punishment is indicated by the symbol stated on the
left of each article of the regulations. |
| 1.7 |
|
Students who commit an offence that is not expressly stipulated
in the regulation may be punished according to the most closely
analogous article of the regulation. |
| 1.8 |
|
An
offender who is punished may have his punishment record reduced
or cancelled if he truly repents or demonstrates meritorious conduct. |
| 1.9 |
|
The principal has the right to impose a heavier punishment to
recidivists. |
| 1.10 |
|
Habitual violation of the regulation will be considered as a contempt
of the regulation. |
| 1.11 |
|
The school authority has the right to interpret and amend the
regulation. |
