AI & Sports Science Course (STEAM Carnival)

Our students participated in the STEAM Carnival organized by Jordan Valley St. Joseph's Catholic Primary School. We designed and showcased an AI application that can detect students’ posture during sports activities. During the event, participants first took part in an in-throwing (dart-throwing) activity, after which our student ambassadors used a mobile app integrated with the dartboard sensors to calculate and record each participant’s score. 

Participants were then invited to try the AI posture recognition app developed by our students. The app helps identify and confirm correct movement posture, allowing participants to practise more effectively and proceed to related activities with improved understanding of proper technique. Through this hands-on experience, students, teachers, parents, and guests actively engaged with one another, exchanged ideas, and learned a great deal about the practical applications of AI in sports science.
