Chinese Culture Day

09/07/2025

On July 9, 2025, the Chinese Cultural Day featured engaging activities designed for Form 1 to Form 3 students, immersing them in Chinese culture. Organized as a cross-subject event by the Chinese panel, Chinese history panel, Putonghua panel, and Science panel, the first part, "National Essence Cultural Study," showcased an impressive explanation of face-changing (變臉), accompanied by performances and interactive sessions. Students were captivated by the artistry and skill of performer Wang Sifu, praising his mastery.

The second part included a variety of booth games, such as face-painting, lantern riddles, lion dancing, and a school-based Hanfu photo booth. Students enjoyed hands-on experiences with paper-making, dragon beard candy, and even crafted their own bows and arrows. Through these activities, students not only had fun but also gained a deeper understanding of Chinese culture. Overall, it was a delightful day of cultural exploration and appreciation for all participants.
