F2 Students Participate in EKCC Community Art Project: "The Sound of Touch"

26/06/2026

In line with our commitment to extending art education beyond the classroom, 100 F.2 students were participating in a collaborative community art project organized by the East Kowloon Cultural Centre (EKCC) and Breakthrough Art Studio.

Between July and August 2026, the center will host a grand, site-specific installation artwork entitled "The Sound of Touch" (《觸感之聲》), blending community input with professional art design. To prepare for this exhibition, an on-campus weaving workshop was organized for our junior secondary students.

During the session, students demonstrated excellent focus and enthusiasm as they crafted their own woven components. The workshop not only enriched their appreciation for textile arts but also allowed them to understand the impact of community-driven public art. The school extends its gratitude to EKCC and Breakthrough Art Studio for providing our students with this invaluable experiential learning opportunity.
