IT Lab - IoT & Smart Systems Design
Our F.1 students successfully completed an immersive IT Lab course focused on Internet of Things (IoT) technology and intelligent system development. The program ran for six lessons from April 7th to May 28th, 2025.
Throughout the course, students gained practical experience in creating responsive IoT devices that interact with their environment. The curriculum introduced students to IoT programming fundamentals, teaching them how to develop applications that collect and respond to real-world data.
Students enhanced their projects by integrating HuskyLens technology, enabling their IoT devices to visually detect environmental changes and generate responses in real time. The course incorporated digital fabrication skills as students designed and laser-cut custom external cases and support structures for their IoT devices.
This comprehensive approach allowed students to explore the complete development cycle from programming and AI integration to physical design and construction, providing a solid foundation in modern smart systems technology.
