S.5 Students Serve as Volunteers at the 12th NGD and 9th NSOG Wheelchair Fencing Events

Senior Secondary students demonstrated a strong sense of social responsibility by taking part in the Volunteer Service for the 12th National Games for Persons with Disabilities and the 9th National Special Olympic Games. A group of Secondary 5 students served as volunteers at the Wheelchair Fencing events held at the Ma On Shan Sports Centre, supporting athletes and assisting with event operations. Through direct involvement, students gained a deeper understanding of inclusiveness, perseverance and respect for athletes with disabilities. The experience broadened their horizons and reinforced the values of empathy and community service, making the activity a meaningful and educational learning opportunity beyond the classroom.
