SCOLAR Writing Programme

 

Empowering Student Writing Through the English Alliance

The English Department strives to provide our students with enriching learning experiences that unlock their potential. This year, we are proud to have participated in the English Alliance 2023/24 Writing Programme funded by the Standing Committee on Language Education and Research of the Education Bureau.

As part of this initiative, two experienced tutors from the Centre for Language Education and Multiliteracies Research at the Chinese University of Hong Kong came to our school to polish our students’ skills in writing an argumentative essay on 14 & 17 May, utilizing engaging activities and digital resources.

Our students found the programme inspiring and valuable as it equipped them with the skills to express their ideas effectively in English. Undoubtedly, this collaborative effort has been a huge success, empowering our students to become confident writers.
