Seeds Programme--- Visiting the Legislative Council

20/05/2026

On 20 May 2026, 17 students (Form 2 and Form 3) visited the Legislative Council of Hong Kong as part of the Seeds Programme. The visit aimed to broaden students’ understanding of how Hong Kong’s legislative system works in real life, and to deepen their awareness of the role of the Council in society.

During the trip, students participated as public observers, joining designated sessions where they could learn about the Council’s procedures and experience the atmosphere of a legislative meeting. They also took part in guided activities and explored different areas of the LegCo Complex, gaining first-hand knowledge about the facilities and learning resources available for the public.

Our students demonstrated good discipline and curiosity throughout the visit. This learning experience helped strengthen students’ civic awareness, communication skills, and respect for public institutions. Through this educational programme, students also gained inspiration and learned to think more thoughtfully about governance, community issues, and their responsibilities as future citizens.
