Student Voices in Mediation: Learning, Practice and Impact

27/01/2026

Three S.5 peer mediators joined a public sharing session for secondary school teachers organized by the Hong Kong Family Welfare Society with support from the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust. During the session, they shared their experiences as school peer mediators, reflected on the skills and values they have learnt, and explained how mediation has helped them handle conflicts more calmly and fairly. They also introduced a board game designed by the Hong Kong Family Welfare Society to other teachers, demonstrating how mediation education can be promoted through interactive and engaging activities, and expressed their strong belief in the positive impact of mediation in schools.
