SCOLAR English Writing Programme
The English Department is dedicated to providing our students with enriching learning experiences that unlock their full potential. In May 2024, our Form 2 students participated in the English Alliance 2023/24 Writing Programme, which was funded by the Standing Committee on Language Education and Research of the Education Bureau.
As part of this initiative, participants were tasked with writing an argumentative essay utilizing the skills they learned throughout the programme. We are proud to announce that 10 students received either a Certificate of Merit or a Certificate of Excellence for their outstanding writing. Besides, 3 of our students participated in an extended presentation activity, where they impressed the judges with their insightful comments on the pros and cons of social media, ultimately winning the championship for their lively delivery.
