Catholic Week

Catholic Week

05/04/2026

Catholic Week, held from 25 March to 5 April 2026, is a significant annual tradition in our school, inviting students and staff to deepen their spiritual understanding through prayer, reflection, and meaningful participation. Guided by the theme "Journey to the Light, Embracing the Resurrection," this period encourages us to renew our hearts during Lent and prepare joyfully for the celebration of Easter.

The programme begins on 25 March with a series of faith‑forming activities. On 25–26 March, the Easter Faith Puzzle will be held in the Prayer Room, offering students an interactive way to explore the meaning of the Resurrection. From 25–27 March, lunchtime booths—including the Café booth, the Catholic Society game booth, and the Faith Puzzle booth—will provide opportunities for fellowship and charitable giving. All donations collected will support our Lenten charity campaign, reminding us that acts of love and service are central to Christian living.

Liturgies form the spiritual heart of Catholic Week. On 26 March, the Maundy Thursday Liturgy will help us reflect on Christ's humility and His call to serve one another. On 27 March, the Way of the Cross will guide students around the campus to meditate on Jesus' passion and sacrifice. On 30–31 March, F.1 and F.2 students will participate in pilgrimage visits to local churches, deepening their understanding of faith through prayerful exploration.

During Holy Week, from 3–5 April, all students are invited to join the "Teacher and I Attend Mass" initiative, fostering a spirit of companionship in worship. This year, we also joyfully celebrate students who will receive Baptism and Confirmation during the Easter Triduum, marking an important milestone in their faith journey.
